There is currently one confirmed case of measles reported in King County.

Please monitor your child for signs of measles (fever, diarrhea, coughing, runny nose, red and watery eyes, tiredness with a rash that begins on the face and spreads to the entire body). See King County’s Measles Fact Sheet for more information in multiple languages.

Measles is extremely contagious, if your child has measles, or you suspect they may have measles, please keep them home and contact your health care provider.

The best protection against measles for yourself and your children is the MMR vaccine.
