"Helping Today's Children for a Better Tomorrow."

Annual East African Family Child Care Conference

Each year Voices Of Tomorrow (VOT) hosts  Annual East African Family Child Care Conference.  This event brings together over 200 community based organizations, Child Care practitioners, and Early Learning professionals throughout the King County who came together to share ideas and create learning community united by a common goal: Helping today’s  children for better tomorrow.  Our goal is to inspire East African immigrant and refugee educators in the early learning field, while also cultivating leadership capacity that will contribute to policy changes. There were four East African main languages present during the conference; Somali, Oromo, Amharic, and Barwe.
