Iftin Hagimohamed is a visionary, blessed with the foresight to co-found Voices of Tomorrow and manage the challenges of organizational development. Iftin has spearheaded the creation of many policies that help Seattle families and children, the Seattle Preschool Program is a major success that is still flourishing today. As an adolescent Iftin and her family were forced to flee a war-torn county. Her family struggled to be safe, to eat, and to re-establish themselves. Seeing her parents struggle, and the trauma of the civil war molded her into the woman she is today. Iftin values freedom, access, justice, and equality and thrives in supporting the most vulnerable and voiceless. Iftin is the stepmother of 3 beautiful boys, she wakes up daily intending to make the world better for them and the rest of the children in the world.

Zamzam Mohamed develops strategic plans to advance Voices of Tomorrow’s mission and objectives and to promote revenue, profitability, and growth as an organization. Her courage, passion, and drive inspired Zamzam to co-create an environment where children’s identity, culture, and language are celebrated. She oversees Voices of Tomorrow operations to ensure production efficiency, quality, service, and cost-effective management of resources. Above all, she wants people to feel a sense of belonging, being part of a community, and a shared wisdom when engaging with Voices of Tomorrow.

Sarah Loeffler Joined Voices of Tomorrow (VOT) as a Graduate Student at the University of Washington to help build action plan for a quality assessment to meet the evolving needs of dual-language instruction in early learning. Sarah was drawn to the work of VOT because of their work in the immigrant and refugee community with a focus on language and identity preservation. After completing her Master of Public Administration degree, she joined VOT full time and spent her first three years helping to build a robust department of wrap around support services for parents and caregivers. With passion and expertise in the realm of public policy and advocacy, Sarah has officially transitioned into this new strategic focus of VOT. The new Public Policy department will work to amplify community voice, so the decisions that govern the health and wellbeing of our children and families are designed by those representatives of the lives who are impacted. Outside her career, Sarah enjoys spending time hiking, camping, fishing, and traveling with her husband and dog. Operations Manager, Ariel Orseno is passionate about helping others achieve their goals. Born and raised in Chicago, working across several different industries, Ariel developed an unshakeable excitement for education, training, and development. Her personality, alongside her experience, has made it easy to connect with people from different backgrounds and cultures. Ariel has a knack for communication and an eye for detail. This, fueled by her competitive nature, grit, and determination: to be and deliver the best in all she does, gives her an edge in any environment.

Stephanie Sosa works diligently and efficiently in accounting and managing the financial contracts and funds of VOT. She has extensive knowledge in accounting and finance management. She holds a Master’s degree from Columbia University in Economics and Education. Stephanie enjoys traveling with her family and watching soccer games, especially Real Madrid FC games.

Raetta Daws is a licensed clinical social worker with child and cultural specialties. Over the years, encourage families to identify and select their own paths to success. As families partner with the Health Services Department, Raetta works diligently to help them feel confident in their parenting and are appropriately caring for the health of their children. Her free time is spent camping, going to concerts, doing crafts, and chasing her teenage grandchildren. She also enjoys playing with her two small dogs.

Ginny Martin is a highly organized collaborator, committed to contributing to the success and needs of the Voices of Tomorrow community. She has lived in the Pacific Northwest her whole life and developed an indelible passion for nature and its preservation. Over the past 15 years, Ginny has worked in various industries as an executive administrator, marketing coordinator, and office manager. She is a team player with an approachable demeanor, sure to resonate with anyone. VOT is excited to work with Ginny and bring value to the community.

Nimco Abdirahman is the Human Resource Manager of Voices of Tomorrow and manages and coordinates human resources functions while facilitating and planning the execution of policies and procedures. She has many years of experience in holding community engagement workshops and advocacy work. She holds a degree in Global Studies with a concentration in economics from the University of Washington. Nimco enjoys traveling and trying new restaurants with friends and families and enjoying the great outdoors.
