We strive for children to have an autonomy and independence by being responsible for their learning path and learn at their own pace. All curriculums are tailored in accordance with the children’s unique needs and towards their interests.

Voices of Tomorrow collaborates with the Seattle Preschool Program and State-funded ECEAP program to subcontract with 21 Family Child Care Providers (FCCP). These partnerships enable us to offer high-quality dual language multicultural preschool programs in Seattle and King County, freeing up our time to focus on delivering quality education to the children.

FAMILY AND COMMUNITY RESOURCES

VOT provides accessible resources for the families and the communities we serve. VOT supports families with rental assistance and exclusive systems in job searches and employment, education, healthcare, financial institutions, housing, and more. Barriers to living wage jobs, affordable housing, food, and health care take a dramatic toll on families. Our case management and family support staff are here to support families in resources and referrals they need, when they need them and how they need them.

Help Me Grow

Help Me Grow Washington is a free service that connects parents and caregivers to resources in their community. Families who are seeking support, they turn to VOT to connect to timely, accessible services and resources in their language that match their culture. Activities such as providing referral contact information, ensuring a warm connection to services, accompanying families as they engage with services, and/or providing information, training, and/or support to families.

When a family calls, one of our Assessment Lead assesses the families need and listens to their concerns to make sure we find the appropriate resources and services to meet the needs of the child and the family.

Developmental Screening:
Because your child’s first five years of life are so important, we want to help you support you. The Ages and Stages Questionnaire (ASQ) is a great way to make sure that your infant, toddler, or preschooler is healthy and ready to learn and grow. It’s also a fun way to spend quality time with your child and learn what they can do! It will take about 10 to 15 minutes to complete. Afterwards a representative from VOT will follow up with you later about your child’s results.

Mind, Body, and Culture

Mind, Body, and Culture (MBC) integrates mental health and trauma-informed practices in our existing Adult Education and Early Childhood programs with special focus on Infant and Toddlers, while also connecting MBC in our efforts to change community attitude towards mental health. Our first year we have built infrastructure and pilot practices within our own organization, and then expanded culturally responsive trauma-informed services to the larger community.

  • Families will receive MBC staff listen to their concerns, develop goals, connect with professionals, obtain resources, and improve family relationships.
  • The staff visits families either face-to-face or virtually twice a month to listen to the parent’s concerns about anyone in the house and develop plans to help them. Concerns and plans may focus on health, education, housing, jobs, finances, or other topics.
