DCYF childcare stabilization grant

In Partnership with DCYF, Voices of Tomorrow brings you an opportunity to receive technical assistance support in applying for the Childcare Stabilization Grant. DCYF is providing direct support through a Child Care Stabilization Grant. The goal of the Child Care Stabilization Grant is to provide financial relief to childcare providers to help defray unexpected business costs associated with the pandemic and to help stabilize their operations so that they may continue to provide care.

DCYF recognizes that the cost of childcare in Washington state can average upwards of $1,500 per child each month. Childcare costs are primarily driven by teacher pay and facility/space costs, understanding that other factors have increased costs as much as 30% higher because of the COVID-19.
